A contract is simply a written record of an agreement between two or more parties. Nevertheless, as simple as this may be, there are many issues that must be addressed in a contract that can have serious repercussions for one or several of the parties involved in the contract. These issues may range from compliance with tax obligations, to maintenance of the property or items within the property itself to name just a few.
Something to keep in mind is that for a contract to be valid in Mexico, it must be in Spanish. However, if you do not speak Spanish or are not comfortable with legal terms in this language, we can provide you with a translated version in English and we can clarify and explain any doubts you may have regarding the document.
At Amigo Country we have extensive experience with all kinds of contracts and would be happy to review yours to make sure it meets your objectives and keeps you secure and free of unforeseen repercussions. If it should be the case, we can also suggest changes to the contract so that it is better suited to your needs and objectives.
